Enchantment

EE's slim limbs maneuver through the thick snow. His crystal orbs scanned over the vacant environment around him. Silence. There was nothing but silence. Nothing to break the still atmosphere. He liked the silence, gave him the rare seconds to just think.

All silence was broken when the soft crunch of snow being stepped upon sang into the air. It echoed and soon touched EE's eardrums. His ears swirled towards the noise. Another horse. Most definitely. Maybe the beginning of a herd, or, maybe the beginning of a life or death fight. No guarantee that he would win if there was even a fight. The stray strands of his mane and tail danced and played in the mind, but his body was a statue in the snow.

A mare. The start of a herd. EE slowly turned. Though his back legs never moved from their spot, he hopped to turn and face the mare. Excitement and curiosity both filled his orbs as he looked at the mare. A gentle wicker sent to her in return.

EE side stepped and flung his long neck to the side. The locks of his mane flew in that direction and fluttered in the wind. Showing off wasn't normally his thing but like any stallion he did.

Taken back he snorted softly. His head lowered slightly as he stepped to the mare. Rounding around her and stopping when he was face to face with her. A soft nicker was complimented by still curious blue eyes.

A challenge one thing he'd never turn down. His skull rose into the air. Cream pelt sparkling against the grey sky. His limbs rose high into the air with a leap forward, kicking out his back legs. He landed with only a soft thud. He could have a little fun while he was at it, couldn't he? It wasn't hurting anyone.

"I don't appreciate being ignored." EE snorted back. Though he simply side stepped away from her, circling the mare. "May I at least have the pleasure of knowing your name?"

The stallions long slim limbs lifted into the air as he switched into a canter. He went up to the mare and went around her. "Stubborn I see."

"Instinct." He answered simply. "I usually follow beautiful mares." With a bow he turned and cantered away. When he slid to a stop his hoof raised and stomped down at the ground, leaving a hole. Simply he stepped back and grazed the grass below.

His head raised to watch the mare. Orbs glittering as golden rays of light touched his body. Slowly he walked over to her, head low. "Call me EE."

"Elusive Enchantment." A chuckle was the only thing he could do at the moment. "Nice to meet you." Gently he nudged her neck, arching his as he stepped back.

He laughed and kicked out his front legs. His cream body was soon facing the mare, a playful glint in his eyes. Playfully he nipped her shoulder and sidestepped away.

Another gust of wind sent his mane and tail fluttering and a shiver slinking down his spine. When he calmed the rapid shivers he pushed his shoulders back, raised his head into the air and stepped towards the mare again.
